Michigan Mobile Home Connection is a family owned and operated company, the founder David Mickel started in the manufactured home business in 1978 with Foremost Insurance company as a licensed insurance agent, and soon after became a Mobile Home Broker, providing a service for buyers and sellers of pre-owned manufactured homes under the name of United Mobile Home Brokers.
In 2003 1000’s of repossessed manufactured homes hit the market due to unsavory lending practices and as a result almost every Manufactured home dealer in the state went out of business, We saw an opportunity to start purchasing those repo’s from banks and took over the sales lot at 5815 S.Division ave. Grand Rapids, MI and changed our name to Michigan Mobile Home Connection LLC . Since 2003 we have purchased and re-sold over 1000 pre-owned manufactured homes and in 2012 we decided it was the right time to start offering Brand new HUD and Modulars homes. Having bought and sold 1000’s of used homes we got a great education on which factories built the best homes, so the first product we wanted to represent was Redman. (Champion Home Builders).
